Why is the site currently redirecting to a weird search page?
Yeah it's a hosting boo boo, they'll fix it when their tech guys are working. They're not 24 hours, which blows but is expected.
Further details, no worries about the site being 'gone'. Think of it as misplaced. Basically what happened was my site was renewed for another year, perfectly fine and they take the money.
BUT, the computer program that does the auto renewals didn't update WHERE the site was, so while the site exists and all of the content is on it - the domain isn't currently linked.
Basically, gotta wait for a dude to go to work and punch in, read their support email I sent, and just pop in the correct info.
Because I'm a small site, I don't have a fixed home on their servers. They just move me around wherever... unfortunately seems like they moved me and didn't realize it this time. Blech.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and it was a surprise to me as well.
The site is fine, it's safe, and it's not wiped or broken or anything like that. Should be up Wednesday whenever they get around to fixing it.
AND we are back. Sorry for the missing site, nothing really I could do other than poke the hosting support in the eye. They got it up very quickly though, once notified. Huzzah!
